Terms & Conditions of Sale & Services (the fine print)


The following terms and conditions govern the sale of products by ECOM GLOBAL ENTERPRISE LTD (store.ecomhitech.com), (hereafter referred to as ECOM HITECH). By submitting your on-line order to ECOM HiTECH, you have indicated your acceptance to be bound by these terms and conditions of sale & services. At ECOM HiTECH’s sole discretion, these terms and conditions may be changed without prior notice at any time before ECOM HiTECH accepts your order.

Important Ordering Information

All orders require about 1 to 2 business days processing before shipment for any product designated as “In Stock” & Products that are not in our local warehouse require about 4 – 12 business days. Our local warehouse based in Mauritius and international warehouse based in UAE, Hongkong, USA, Singapore, Thailand & Vietnam. While ECOM HiTECH makes every attempt to maintain accurate stock information, ECOM HiTECH is not responsible for the accuracy of inventory and product full descriptions. In the event of a discrepancy regarding availability of a product, ECOM HiTECH has the right to fully refund a customer for the full purchase price, in lieu of timely delivery of merchandise.

  • ECOM HiTECH processes and ships Monday to Friday, and is closed on weekends and public holidays
  • No deliveries are made by carriers on weekends or holidays
  • No deliveries will be made to Post Office Boxes (PO Box)
  • You may be contacted at the phone number registered with your customer account for security purposes

Customer Satisfaction Policy

Products sold by ECOM HiTECH are covered under a limited 15-day DOA (dead-on-arrival) policy, from the original invoice date, and is subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • ALL merchandise requires an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued by ECOM HiTECH for return. RMA numbers are valid for 7-days with a small leeway for shipping times. Merchandise returned to us without a valid RMA number will be refused and shipped back to the customer at the customer’s expense. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for testing and refunds to be processed.
  • Returned merchandise must NOT be physically damaged, including damage due to improper installation or overclocking. This includes any physical alteration to the product, modifications not approved by the manufacturer, bent pins, etc. No returns, refunds or exchanges for any special-order products, Notebooks, PDAs, Televisions, Retail Box Software, OEM Software, Computer Games, Video Games, DVDs, CDs, or any products marked as “no returns” or carries a similar description on the products’ page. All products are eligible for original manufacturer’s warranties. Please contact the manufacturer/distributor directly. All fees, including “shipping, delivery and handling”, insurance coverage fees, and “Rapid Replacement” fees are non-refundable or might be decided by the management depending on the actual case.
  • Returns MUST include all original parts and packing materials and an ECOM HiTECH RMA number, or the return will be rejected. ECOM HiTECH reserves the right to refuse any returns or refunds for merchandise. DOA items may be returned within 15 days of ordering and may be subject to a 15% restocking fee at the discretion of ECOM HiTECH.
  • LCD monitors and other products with LCD displays (i.e.: notebooks, cameras, etc.) adheres to the dead-pixel policy that been established by most of the manufacturers. Any product with an LCD screen must be a minimum of 7 (seven) dead LCD pixels to be considered defective (DOA). Please contact the manufacturer of the product for additional warranty information if you receive a product with less than 7 dead pixels.

All product warranty coverage after 15-days will be handled directly by the product manufacturer. ECOM HITECH reserves the right to refuse any returns or refunds for merchandise.

All product warranty coverage for Mauritius warehouse is maximum 7 days while product from our international warehouse is 15 Days.

Terms of Purchase

ECOM HiTECH is a retailer/distributor only. Products sold are not manufactured by ECOM HiTECH. ECOM HiTECH makes no representation or warranty with respect to the products except those stated in this document. ECOM HITECH disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, as to any such product, including and without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and any implied warranties arising from statute, trade usage, course of dealing, or course of performance.

You (“the Customer”) and ECOM HiTECH agree that these Terms and Conditions are the sole terms and conditions governing the sales transaction between the Customer and ECOM HiTECH. Any attempt to alter, supplement, modify or amend these Terms and Conditions by the Customer will be considered a material alteration of this agreement and, therefore, are null and void. In addition, these Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time, without prior written notice. Therefore, please check these Terms and Conditions carefully each time you place an order with ECOM HiTECH.


ECOM HITECH does not guarantee that products and services advertised on our website will be available when ordered or thereafter.

Payment Terms

Payment is due by credit card, Bank Transfer, Internet Banking, Juice, Company Cheque and PayPal for customer outside Mauritius. Once an order is placed by credit card, the credit card account will be verified at the time the order is placed. Should a credit card be declined, so will be the order. Cash on Delivery (C.O.D) orders are accepted if the required amount of deposit is made and available for Mauritius only while international orders still require full payment before shipment. Orders are processed ONLY upon receipt of payment.

Disclaimer of Warranty

When products are shipped to you, their limited warranties applicable to products are in effect and are included with the shipment. Certain products may have additional warranties provided by the original manufacturer but not by ECOM HiTECH. On our web site, “as is” products may not have warranties from ECOM HiTECH (other than those warranties implied by and incapable of exclusion, restriction or modification under applicable law), but may still hold warranties from the manufacturer.

Payment Shipping and Handling Charges and Taxes

The buyer is responsible for any taxes or tariffs associated with your purchase. Only for customers in Mauritius will have no additional payment such as taxes and handling charges.


Prices shown on ECOM HiTECH’s website do not include shipping and handling unless stated as “ FREE SHIPPING”. All prices listed are VAT inclusive. All prices are in MUR Mauritian Rupee and in US dollars & Euro for international customers. The price charged for an order will be the price in effect at the time the order is made. Nonetheless, if the price drops before shipment and you notify ECOM HiTECH of the lower price before the product is shipped, in which case (and in that case only) the price charged will be the lower price.

Shipping & Risks during Shipping

When products are shipped to you by common carrier, ECOM HiTECH’s liability to you for breakage and/or non-delivery of the products by the common carrier to you will be limited by the limits of liability provided by the common carrier’s terms and conditions of carriage. You may wish to purchase insurance from loss or breakage during carriage for full insurable value of the products you have ordered by making the appropriate requests when placing your order with ECOM HiTECH, Insurance purchase are available only for customer outside Mauritius or shipment outside Mauritius.

Order Cancellations & Changes

For the benefit of our customers, we attempt to process orders as rapidly as possible. As such, orders may be sent to our warehouse for fulfillment very soon after they are placed. Due to difficulty of locating orders once they have begun the fulfillment process, we will not be able to make any order changes or cancellations once they have reached this stage of processing.

Please review orders very carefully prior to submitting them and in the case a cancellation is necessary; please contact us as soon as possible to increase the likelihood that we are able to stop your order before it goes to the warehouse for fulfillment. Unfortunately, no guarantees can be made.

Errors, Misprints, and Omissions

Our goal is to provide current and accurate information on our website. However, errors, misprints, and omissions sometimes occur. These include but are not limited to incorrect or incomplete prices, descriptions, specifications, photographs or illustrations. ECOM HiTECH makes no warranty that the content of the website is accurate or complete.

Prior to shipment or delivery of any order, ECOM HiTECH may cancel, reject, correct, or terminate any order for products, services, or insurance for which the price was incorrectly displayed or where we otherwise displayed erroneous, incomplete, or inaccurate information. ECOM HiTECH cancel, reject, correct or terminate at any stage of the order processing, including after an order has been submitted and confirmed, and your credit card or debit card has been charged or an electronic funds transfer has been sent or received. In the event your order is cancelled by ECOM HiTECH after your credit card or debit card has already been charged, ECOM HiTECH will immediately issue a full refund to your payment method account in the amount of the charge. Individual bank or credit union policies will determine when this amount is credited to your account.

ECOM HiTECH is not obligated to complete any sell of products, services, or insurance based on errors, misprints, or omissions on our website.

ECOM HITECH may at any time, with no prior notice or liability to any website user (a) correct any error, inaccuracy, or omission; (b) change the products and services available on the website, or the prices, fees, description, and specifications of such products, services, and insurance; (c) limit quantities, promotional or otherwise, available for sale.

Limited Warranty

ECOM HiTECH warrants product(s) to be in good working condition and free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year for OEM products, or thirty (30) days for RETAIL packaged products from the original Invoice date unless otherwise restricted below or by the manufacturer’s own warranty policy. ALL OEM CPU products are warranted within seven (7) days from the original invoice date.

ECOM HiTECH’s liability shall as limited to repairing or replacing, at its option, any defective product which is returned, freight prepaid to ECOM HITECH, according to the Merchandise Return Procedure set forth in Section Merchandise Return Procedure below. Buyer shall bear all responsibility for shipping charges and risk of loss or damage during transit to ECOM HITECH Products which have been subjected to abuse, misuse, alteration, neglect or unauthorized repair or installation, as determined solely by ECOM HiTECH, are not covered by this warranty.

Any alterations, addition, improvements or attachments to the product(s) not authorized in writing by the ECOM HiTECH shall be deemed to be a waiver of this warranty by Buyer and shall render this warranty null and void. ECOM HiTECH shall return repaired or replaced product(s) to Buyer, at its expense via regular ground service within Mauritius and Eligible countries. Delivery/Shipping charges by all other methods and to all other destinations shall be borne by Buyer unless stated “FREE DELIVERY/ FREE SHIPPING”.


Technical Support
ECOM HiTECH provides technical support for most of its products. Some products may have to use the technical support provided by the manufacturer or Authorized Repair Center by manufacturer.

Limitation of Liability

The maximum liability to you for products purchased from ECOM HiTECH shall be limited to the purchase price you have paid for the products. Also, ECOM HITECH will not be liable for any property damage, personal injury, loss of use, interruption of business, loss of profits, or other consequential, indirect, incidental, punitive or special damages. This applies to all situations however caused, whether for breach of warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, other than those damages that are incapable of limitation, exclusion or restriction under applicable law.

THIS RETURN POLICY IS NOT A WARRANTY. ECOM HiTECH reserves the right to change or to cancel it at any time before accepting your order. For all refunds, you need to precisely follow the previous return procedures to ensure the return of your refund. You need to also allow a reasonable period of time for the product to arrive at our warehouse and pass an inspection process. When your return is accepted, we will process your credit as soon as possible.


Title to hardware products and to the media in which software products are embodied passes to you upon shipment by ECOM HiTECH Title to software remains with the licensor of the software.


These terms and conditions shall be interpreted under and governed by the laws of Mauritius, without giving effect to conflicts of law rules. Headings used in these Terms and Conditions are for convenience of reference only and are not intended to be part of, or to affect the meaning or interpretation of, these Terms and Conditions.


All dispute, controversy, or claim against ECOM HiTECH arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, their interpretation, or the breach, termination or validity thereof, or any related purchase shall be resolved exclusively and finally by arbitration administered by the CPU.
The arbitration will be conducted before a single arbitrator, and will be limited solely to the dispute or controversy between you and ECOM HiTECH The arbitration shall be held in any mutually agreed upon location in person, by telephone, or online. Any decision rendered in such arbitration proceedings will be final and binding on each of the parties, and judgment may be entered thereon in a court of competent jurisdiction. The arbitrator shall not award either party special, exemplary, consequential, punitive, incidental or indirect damages, or attorney’s fees and each party irrevocably waives any such right to recover such damages. The parties will share the costs of the arbitration, (including the arbitrator’s fees, if any) in the proportion that the final award bears to the amount of the initial claim.

No Modification

Any additional or altered terms attached or adhering to an order shall be null and void and without effect, unless agreed to in writing by ECOM HiTECH. These terms and conditions may not be modified, altered or amended without the written agreement of ECOM HiTECH


If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be illegal, invalid or un-enforceable, in whole or in part, the legality, validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected or impaired. The terms and conditions stated herein are declared to be Severable.


You may not assign this agreement without ECOM HiTECH’s prior written consent. ECOM HiTECH is the intended beneficiaries of this agreement. If there is any inconsistency between this agreement and other agreement included with or relating to products purchased from ECOM HiTECH, this agreement shall take precedence.

Linking and Framing the Web Site

Links to the Website without the express permission of ECOM HiTECH are strictly prohibited. ECOM HiTECH reserves the right to cancel and revoke any permission it may give to link to the Website at any time, for any reason, without any notice, and without any liability to you or any other person. The framing of the Website or any of its content in any form and by any method is strictly prohibited.
